  MemberCare is a subscription program for LifeCare Ambulance Service that covers out-of-pocket expenses for medically necessary ambulance service. It costs $38 to join, and is good for a 12 month period. It covers a person, their spouse and any other legal dependants living in the household. LifeCare will bill your insurance for medically necessary ambulance service. Any portion left unpaid, including co-pays and deductibles are written off if you have MemberCare. If you do not have insurance that covers ambulance service, a membership will provide you with a 20% discount off the regular charges. MemberCare also entitles you to discounts of up to 30% on wheelchair van transportation. Many people are finding MemberCare of more value as their health insurance requires more out-of-pocket costs to be paid by the patient.
